It is the mission of the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Program to promote member commitment and retention through the following activities:
- Raising awareness of Chamber activities and benefits
- Informing and involving new Chamber members to promote strong continuing membership
- Encouraging meaningful and beneficial participation in Chamber programs
- Serving as a liaison between the Chamber staff and membership
The Ambassador Program consists of volunteers from the Chamber membership who donate their time to assist the Chamber in various activities.
Chamber Ambassadors are Chamber members in good standing who volunteer for a one year term to enhance member retention and involvement. Ambassadors are some of the most visible Chamber members, and have the opportunity to increase their network, as well as their leadership skills through the program. Ambassadors are selected through an application process.
Ambassadors are charged with conveying member’s needs, questions and concerns to Chamber staff, and keeping our Chamber in line with members’ desires.
