Chamber members and their guests are invited to gather informally for refreshments and network-based conversation regarding area commerce and economic growth.
After Hours events are a reception hosted by a Chamber member, typically on a Thursday from 5:00PM – 7:00PM. Appetizers and drinks will be provided by the host as attendees mingle and network with other community business professionals from Randolph County. After Hours are held most months on the third Thursday.
These events usually attract an average of 25+ attendees, including members and guests. Through opportunities like these events, the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber is constantly striving to make Randolph County a better place to live, work, and do business. You won’t want to miss out on these great evenings of fun and networking!

ANNUAL DINNER & AWARDS
The community event of the year is the Elkins-Randolph County Chamber’s Annual Dinner & Awards. This event highlights the success of the Chamber and economic development. Celebrate the vision for the future and spend the evening with some of the most respected business leaders in Randolph County. This is the Chamber’s largest networking and social event of the year!
Prior to the event, the Chamber asks for nominations for the various awards that will be presented at the event. The awards are to recognize outstanding Chamber members and Randolph County area leaders who made an impact in the community.

CHRISTMAS PARADE & SANTA VISITS
The Chamber Christmas Parade is held in downtown Elkins in early December. Following the Christmas Parade, there are family activities and a chance to meet Santa Claus at the Elkins YMCA.

ELF ON SHELF PROMOTIONS
Randy the Elf will begin to make his visits early in December. During this time Randy the Elf will appear at 15 local businesses. Find Randy and take a selfie with him, upload your holiday selfie to the Chamber Facebook page to be entered into the GRAND PRIZE drawing of gift basket worth over $400! Each participant is allowed one selfie at each location with Randy to earn up to a total of 15 total entries. The Grand Prize Drawing will take place at Noon on December 21, 2018. Discover the Possibilities with Chamber networking meetings are designed specifically for the professional who would like to expand their network of business contacts, generate new business leads, and learn the most effective strategies for networking. Each attendee will have the opportunity to introduce themselves to the group, share a little about their business, and gain valuable information from a monthly speaker.

FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVITIES
Get ready to place your blanket or your lawn chair at the Davis & Elkins amphitheater for a memorable summer evening of music and fireworks! A local musician TBD will begin to entertain the community from 8PM until dusk. The annual fireworks display will take place immediately following.

The Legislative Luncheon will bring together legislators and our most active business leaders within the area, typically held in January and April. This event will create dialogue opportunities, supporting issues that promote a positive, pro-active business environment. In doing this, we create a connection between the Chamber and its local, state, and federal government representatives.

The idea behind Lunch Local is a meet-n-greet group that will show up at a specified restaurant. It’s a great way to support our hard working Chamber member restaurants and it takes place at a different restaurant every month.
Let’s go to lunch and show our support and appreciation for being a Chamber member restaurant and supporter of our local community. These casual, no-host luncheons are a great opportunity to meet and network with fellow members. Grab a Chamber member, colleague, friend, neighbor, or future member and join us for lunch!

The Chamber invites a guest speaker to address the Chamber membership on a wide variety of timely topics from local, regional, statewide, national, and global interest. RANDOLPH COUNTY DAY
Randolph County Day is an opportunity for area businesses and Chamber members to travel to the state capitol to participate in the legislative process, advocate for issues important to the Randolph County business community, and most importantly, feature why Randolph County is a quality destination to live, work, and play.
Those willing to be part of Randolph County Day are invited to set up exhibits featuring their business or organization or just attend as an individual to network, become educated on the process, or simply meet with local and state officials.

STRATEGIES FOR SUCCESS WORKSHOP
In this workshop members are offered a wide variety of opportunities to enhance their abilities and training for optimum performances in the marketplace. The program provides individualized growth and development opportunities for entry level to executive leadership covering a variety of topics that includes: technology, human resources, marketing and finance.

SUNSET CHASE 5K FUN RUN
Designed as a community-wide, family friendly event, the Sunset Chase 5K Fun Run, will be a timed, five-kilometer “race” aimed at promoting healthy lifestyles. The 5K will begin prior to dark and participants will “chase” the sunset – walking every step or sprinting to the finish line where an after party awaits! All participants will enjoy live entertainment, ice cream sundae bar, and adult beverages to celebrate prior to the awards presentation!

WOMEN IN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE
Designed to have a full day of networking, education, and inspiration created to inspire and energize women in the business community. This one-day conference will feature a Keynote Speaker and provide an opportunity for women to connect, discuss, and be empowered.
